Firstly, I'm glad to confirm that every order I receive will be subject to my 14 day guarantee. If your commission doesn't suit you after all, just return it to me for a re-design and re-make.. I do try very hard to make sure it is what you wanted though :) so it's up to me to ensure you are a satisfied customer, then you might refer your friends to me with total confidence!
The surprisegold.com guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, relating to quality of manufacture, etc.
My designs are mostly made to order, although certain items are sometimes available "off the shelf".
To get a new order under way, requires a deposit of between 60% for most items and 75% for rings with larger diamonds, with the balance on completion of the work, prior to delivery. A receipt will be sent immediately for any payment.
I take payments by cheque (made out to either Godfrey Gardner or Surprisegold.com), by Bank Transfer, or by sending customers a PayPal invoice, in which case payment is made at the PayPal secure website (I do not request or retain any card information). Almost any credit card can be used for payment and normal card protection applies.
Packages for the UK will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. International post is usually by Royal Mail Airsure or FedEx.
Phone or email me to discuss a potential order - you can have a different coloured gold, and almost any stone, or stones. I normally send a quote within two working days and will acknowledge all emails ASAP.
With regard to ring sizing, the best way is to ask a good jewellery shop or ring gallery to size your finger (they are quite used to this). They should have a comprehensive set of metal finger sizing gauges, which look like plain wedding bands.
Delivery of your order is about two to six weeks, depending on the job in question or workload. Contact me any time to check progress.
